Simon Gray

Founder & Director

Simon is the Founder and Director of Progressio, bringing over 45 years of distinguished business leadership and construction industry expertise across Australia and international markets. Throughout his career, he has driven the growth, strategy, and execution of some of the region’s most prominent construction enterprises.
Prior to founding Progressio, Simon spent 15 years in executive leadership with global construction giant Multiplex. He then co-founded and served as Managing Director of Contexx, a tier-one construction firm that successfully merged with Probuild in 2012. Following the merger, Simon stepped into the roles of Group Managing Director and subsequently Executive Chairman of Probuild, steering the company’s corporate strategy and delivery until 2021.

At Progressio, Simon leverages this deep foundational knowledge, unmatched network, and decades of executive oversight to spearhead the company’s strategic vision and commitment to excellence in the built environment.

James Gray

General Manager

James leads the day-to-day operations of Progressio as Head of the business, bringing over 16 years of premier tier-one construction experience from his time at Contexx and Probuild. He commands a specialized expertise in navigating high-end, luxury developments, having previously played a pivotal role in the project leadership and delivery of landmark icons including The Towers & Ritz-Carlton at Elizabeth Quay (Perth) and West Side Place & Ritz-Carlton (Melbourne).

At the helm of Progressio, James drives the company’s strategic vision with a sharp focus on building high-value, enduring partnerships across every facet of the business.

Marcus Ovcaric

Project Manager

Marcus brings over 10 years of project management experience. Marcus plays an integral role in management of Progressio projects, bringing strong attention to detail and a dedicated approach to every project.

Ryan Stephen

Site Manager

As a Site Manager at Progressio, Ryan Stephen brings eight years of dedicated industry experience to the team. Spanning both residential and commercial projects, Ryan combines a strong foundational background in construction with expert site management skills. He prides himself on fostering collaborative on-site relationships and consistently delivering excellence.

Site Manager

Tom brings 10 years’ experience in residential and commercial construction, specialising in Carpentry and more recently Site Management. Tom prides himself on building strong on-site relationships and delivering detail that is second to none.
